Mysore

Mysore Style is a self-paced study, where students receive individual instruction from the teacher.  New postures are introduced one at a time so the student can easily memorize and learn the sequence with both confidence and comfort. This helps the student develop a personal and sustainable yoga practice over time while receiving ongoing guidance from the teacher. No experience is necessary.

Mysore for Beginners – Thursdays at 6:15pm

This evening offering is an introduction to Mysore-style Ashtanga practice, designed specifically for students who are new to the Mysore setting or seeking a slower, more supported entry into the method. The class follows the traditional Mysore format, where students move through the practice at their own pace with individualized guidance woven in. Students are introduced to the structure of the practice, foundational postures, breath, and rhythm in a way that feels approachable and sustainable. This is a welcoming space to ask questions, learn how Mysore works, and begin building confidence in self-practice. Whether you are brand new to Ashtanga or simply new to Mysore-style practice, this class offers a steady and thoughtful place to begin.

Open Practice

Open practice is for students that have an existing Ashtanga Yoga practice, established with an experienced teacher. If you are looking to learn the practice of Ashtanga yoga, you’ll want to check out Mysore Style.

Half Led Primary – Sundays at 7:15am

An understanding of the Practice and Ashtanga Yoga method is highly recommended and preferred. Mysore style is a prerequisite to this class. The class will be counted through Navasana and then transitions into Mysore-style for the remainder of class.
